Taco stuffed shells are a recipe that I had found on Facebook and made. Â It was delicious, the family loved it. Â I went to make it one day and the website was gone. Â They either went offline or removed the recipe. Â After trying to recall all of the ingredients from memory I set out to the store with this recipe in mind. Â I came home and made it as best as I could remember. Â I am not sure if this is exactly the same or not. Â It is delicious and I wanted to share.
This recipe is similar to a Mexican lasagna or manicotti. Â Similar to lasagna, you stuff pasta shells with a creamy combination of meat, green chiles and cream cheese. Â Drizzle on taco sauce and cover with cheese before baking all of the flavors together. Â Taco stuffed shells can be prepared early, covered and saved for later. Â Stored in the refrigerator, it is ready to cook when you get home from work. Â All of the preparation is already done. Â It can also be reheated easily.
It is a really easy recipe to make. Â Try this recipe when you are tired of your traditional Mexican recipes and are looking for something new. Â It only takes about an hour total to prepare this meal that will feed a family of four. Â You can serve alongside a vegetable to round out the meal.
