Stuffed cheeseburgers are a store bought biscuit, flattened and stuff with meat and cheese. I have been making this recipe for years now. Â There are numerous ways you can modify this recipe. Â Make some stuffed tacos by adding some taco seasoning, sour cream and salsa. Â Try stuffed philly cheesesteak by adding some peppers, onions and provolone. Â You can get crazy with this recipe and stuff these biscuits with just about anything. Â I am giving you the most basic combination here. Â Be sure to stay tuned for further modifications of this recipe.
This is a recipe that can be made relatively quickly and will feed a family of four pretty easily. Â My kids love these things and ask me to make them. Â My six year old even devoured these.
In the future, I do plan on trying to use some homemade dough for the this recipe. Â Pillsbury biscuit dough is what I have been using for them. Â If you want to keep it simple and easy just use the store bought dough.
As with other recent recipes I picked up some locally produced block cheese at my local butcher shop. Â This cheese just melts so much better than the waxy pre-shredded, processed stuff. Â More importantly, it tastes way better.
For seasoning my ground beef I used pepper, garlic salt and a little bit of chipotle seasoning. Â Your beef is going to be your strongest taste on your stuffed cheeseburgers. Â Make sure to get some good beef and season it well.
