Stuffed Cheeseburgers

Stuffed Cheeseburgers

Stuffed cheeseburgers are a store bought biscuit, flattened and stuff with meat and cheese. I have been making this recipe for years now.  There are numerous ways you can modify this recipe.  Make some stuffed tacos by adding some taco seasoning, sour cream and salsa.  Try stuffed philly cheesesteak by adding some peppers, onions and provolone.  You can get crazy with this recipe and stuff these biscuits with just about anything.  I am giving you the most basic combination here.  Be sure to stay tuned for further modifications of this recipe.

This is a recipe that can be made relatively quickly and will feed a family of four pretty easily.  My kids love these things and ask me to make them.  My six year old even devoured these.

In the future, I do plan on trying to use some homemade dough for the this recipe.  Pillsbury biscuit dough is what I have been using for them.  If you want to keep it simple and easy just use the store bought dough.

As with other recent recipes I picked up some locally produced block cheese at my local butcher shop.  This cheese just melts so much better than the waxy pre-shredded, processed stuff.  More importantly, it tastes way better.

For seasoning my ground beef I used pepper, garlic salt and a little bit of chipotle seasoning.  Your beef is going to be your strongest taste on your stuffed cheeseburgers.  Make sure to get some good beef and season it well.
